You can’t get anywhere you want to be, unless you get started.

I broke my neck in May 2022. It was a bummer. I couldn’t do any of my hobbies or do fun things with my family and friends. And once I started to get better, I couldn’t use a computer without my hand going numb. Because I had a broken neck.

But there’s a silver lining to everything. For me, it reignited my interest in designing. I designed lots of things for our home - things I’d been thinking about for years but had always put off building because I was worried I’d do a rubbish job and everything would fall apart.

This Laptop Stand possibly is rubbish, but I absolutely love it. Because I made it, and in making it I broke my own self-made barrier that held me back from building my own stuff. Every project from here on in will be better that this one, and better than the last one.
